If listening to music while doing other things means losing appreciation of the beauty the melody carries, measurement of the depth of the sung words, if there are, and attention music most deserve, then I surely oppose even the slighest sound of music played during work.
But if by listening to music while doing other things you mean using it as a tool to soothe senses, to better see things, or to look from a new perspective, then I would certainly agree to play music in all corners of the world.
