Prier.

Pray that you do not forget. Pray that though no sound penetrates your walls and disturbs your sleep anymore, you will not forget that night you woke up from your sleep and begged the Lord to take you out of where you were. Pray that though you can taste so much you will not forget when you starved, when the simplest things were the grandest because you shared them with the ones you love. Pray that no place and no amount and no worldly thing can blur the memory of what pain you have gone through, because that pain taught you genuine happiness and enduring faith.

Pray that you be different. Pray that though you give it all and have none at the end of the day, you still have the love to be able to give all that you can. Pray that you be used for others to be blessed, because you know how it is to have nothing. Pray that you have the heart to trust, and to hope when trust is broken. Because second chances are not for you to give, what more refuse. Pray that you do not count nor regret nor blame. Pray that you have a good soul.

Pray that you be a good child. Pray that you be a source of joy and pride, and not pain and sorrow. Pray that you can say someday that you did your best to be the child you claim to be, that you did it all for that awesome Father you love. Pray that you never cool down, that you never lose the fire.
